A well-crafted, Hand-welted shoe is like no other. Each pair of BLKBRD shoes takes more than 40 hrs in making, going through 100+ different operations and passing through the hands of 12 craftsmen before being packed and shipped to you.

Hand-welted shoes are fully-resolable and can last several years if maintained with proper care.

BLKBRD Shoes are hand-crafted by some of the highly skilled artisans with over 25 years of experience and mastered skills in traditional shoe making. Most of them are second or third generation shoemakers, with their veteran shoemaker fathers passing on this craft to them.

We call our craftsmen, the Journeymen, since their craft is only because of the experience and skills they have acquired during their journey through life. And since skill is not acquired in a day but over a lifetime, our shoes are only because these accomplished journeymen are.
