If we were to dress James Bond in our shoes, Black Romero would be our first choice. This cap-toe oxford is crafted using a special stitching technique called Stitch & Turn seam, where the raw ends of the shoe components are flipped inwards after stitching. Featuring an all-black color scheme on both, the upper and the sole, Romero is as stealthy, minimal yet bold as a shoe can get. Romero Cap Toe

Great shoes, very clean lines. Slightly roomier fit in the toe area than their almond toe last. Looks amazing with a mirror shine.

Bad QC, bad communication, delays

It was difficult to get a hold of people over WhatsApp. I had to use Facebook as well to try and get responses to put in an order.

Unlike some others that got their shoes in 2.5 weeks, I placed my order Jan 11, got told it would be done Feb 8, got no responses to messages for a while and then told Feb 20, then it was actually sent out Feb 25. It's not an unreasonable time frame but they chould at least respond promptly or give correct timelines.

The shoes themselves look.. Okay. There are some imperfections like small surface scratches and creasing/wobbliness of leather around the stitches.
One of the laces had severe issues out of the box and will need immediate replacement so they don't snap.
I had to take out the foam under the insoles for a better fit.
The fiddle back waist extends too far to the front of the sole on one shoe and I can feel the instability on my step.

Overall, I personally would not order from Blkbrd again for the lack of good communication and not too amazing quality.
This was for my wedding and it was not worth dealing with them, nor was the quality of the final product particularly impressive.
