4. Nice extras included in the box (dust bags, handmade insoles, shoe horn)
Points for improvement:
1. The production and shipping time was relatively long (about one month). It felt quite long and exhausting.
2. There are some noticeable finishing imperfections here and there, including small paint marks, light scratches, and slight inconsistencies. It does take away from the overall experience, which is unfortunate.
3. The leather finishing is slightly too shiny and lacks some depth in color.
4. A quality leather shoe should have proper internal markings indicating genuine leather materials. This pair lacks clear internal leather markings for both the upper and sole, which reduces the premium feel.
5. Very important note: the angled heel design should be shown much more clearly before purchase in the website photos. It changes the classic appearance of the shoe and gives it a less standard and less traditional look. In my opinion, this is a significant design detail that should be presented much more clearly and prominently, because in reality the shoe looks different from the expectation created by the product photos.
Overall, this is a good shoe with a successful fit, but there is definitely room for improvement in several important areas.
After the entire experience, including the final cost with shipping and taxes, I would think twice before placing another order.
