I really do like the materials used in this shoe. The leather feels good, both the exterior and interior lining. I think that the padding on the heel, while definitely good for protection, is a bit plush. Mainly, the shape of the shoe is really awkward for a sneaker. It comes to a much more pronounced toe that I was initially expecting, meaning that, while not technically longer than an identically sized shoe (I got an 11 EE, comparing to a Converse 11 Wide), the sharp almond shape taper both makes it less comfortable and more awkward appearing than the other. I appreciate BLKBRD as a brand, and very well may purchase again from them in the future - just not a sneaker.
There’s a time in everyone’s life when they just want to stick with a brand that fits just right and does the right thing. With Shoes, I think Blkbrd might be it for me! A little pricey but good value for money! Will definitely be my choice of shoe brand going forward!
